About us

Our journey began in 2008 after selling our belongings to live in a 5th wheel to build our own modern rustic dream house here in the high country.  After completion, countless people contacted us to ask about the house.  We quickly realized were part of a like minded community of people who have the same love for modern design but live in an area of limited inventory. This drove us to purchase the land that has since become Knollwood Subdivision.

In 2019, development began on the first of 6 modern rustic homes. By the completion of the second it was clear, this was our calling!  The love of modern architecture and interior design made the decision easy for us to leave our jobs and pursue a life long dream. That dream has now become Good Life Building and Design.  This has lead to the happy, healthy, passionate, company we are today!

We are committed to filling the void here in the High Country with homes that are modern, smart and bold! It is our mission to push the envelope with creative, innovative and forward thinking designs. To do this successfully there are a few core beliefs as follows that we will not waiver from:

1. Integrity: We dedicate ourselves to honest, ethical, and moral correctness. We will not compromise employees, customers, or our company.
2. Transparency: Our actions must match our words. Each day we will strive to earn our reputation rather than simply manage it.
3. Trust: From day one we will work to build a healthy foundation by being true to our word, communicating effectively and honestly, making careful decisions, being consistent, honoring our commitments, actively listing, giving respectful feedback, practicing emotional intelligence, and showing we care and respect our clients, workers and community as a whole.
